Speaking and teaching engagements tend to be booked several months in advance, and are often outside the UK. In some circumstances, I can extend trips - tell me where you are, and I'll let you know when I'm likely to be nearby.
Consultancy: flexible arrangements, from a half-day at a time, to several days a week. Price dependent on work.
Testing: I take on occasional interesting short-term projects, at rates equivalent to a good contractor. Limited availability.
Training: Two-day workshops at £3300, one-day workshops at £1950, half-day classes at £1300. See courses.
My exploratory testing workshops are popular, and work well as a 2-day techniques workshop followed by a day focussed on managing ET. I charge these three days at a specially reduced rate of £4650.
Mentoring: Six months unlimited phone access: £3000. Very limited availability.
Speaking: One hour talk, including Q+A, £1000. See talks for content.
How do you know you'll get value for money? Jerry Weinberg (as ever) puts it best. Here's my summary: If you don't get value for money, we'll adjust our relationship until you do. I don't take on work where I can't add more value than my fee - if I make that mistake, you won't be paying for it.
